Suction hoses for abrasive materials are specialised industrial hoses designed for transporting highly abrasive bulk materials. They are an integral part of concrete pumps, plastering systems, grain conveyors and sanding equipment. These hoses are characterised by extremely high abrasion resistance and durability, making them ideal for use in extreme working conditions where a reliable air or material supply system is essential.
This type of abrasive hose is widely used in the construction, agriculture and industrial sectors. It is ideal for sand, grain, cement powder or other materials whose particles cause intense friction. Thanks to their abrasion resistance, these hoses are not only durable but also reliable when continuous suction or delivery of aggressive media is required.
The hose structure is designed to withstand high loads. Its layers are reinforced with textile and steel wire spirals, and the inner layer is made of natural NR rubber, which is characterised by particularly high abrasion resistance. The outer layer is made of SBR/NR rubber, which is resistant not only to abrasion but also to environmental influences such as moisture, UV rays and oil. The operating temperature of the hoses ranges from -30 °C to +80 °C, making them suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.
When working with aggressive media, the hose must not only withstand particle abrasion, but also retain its shape under impact loads and vibration. These suction hoses do this without compromise – their design and materials ensure high operational reliability and a long service life even in intensively used systems.
To ensure efficient operation, the hose must be correctly installed in the existing system. Thanks to their flexibility and spiral design, these hoses are easy to install in various positions while maintaining their shape and strength. They are suitable for connection to concrete pumps, sanding equipment or conveyors used in Kaunas, Vilnius, Klaipėda, Šiauliai and Panevėžys.
To ensure that the system works flawlessly, it is important to check the condition of the hoses regularly. Cracks, worn surfaces or loss of flexibility are signs that the hose needs to be replaced. Although these hoses have a long service life, it is advisable not to ignore signs of wear when using them with highly abrasive materials.
After each period of intensive use, it is recommended to rinse or clean the hose to remove any accumulated material that could accelerate wear on the inner surface. Proper maintenance is an investment in the long-term efficiency and safe use of the hose.
UAB ‘Almeida’ offers suction hoses for abrasive substances according to individual customer requirements – you can choose the required diameter, length, strength class or other parameters. Hoses are supplied in rolls or in the required length, and the exact price depends on the selected configuration. All products comply with EU standards and are supplied throughout Lithuania.
